Abel, who claims to be Athena's brother, appears before her and reveals his plan to recreate a divine punishment that his father Zeus imposed on humans, in order to purify the Earth of all evil in preparation for the Age of the Gods. When Athena seemingly joins him, leaving humanity to its fate, it falls to Seiya and his friends to defend the world.
