Eris, the goddess of evil, resurfaces after millennia and kidnaps Saori Kido, reincarnation of Athena, in order to steal away her powers using the golden apple. Seiya and his friends go to the Temple of Eris to rescue Athena, but must face a group of traitorous Saints who are now Ghosts in service of the goddess.
