A young girl named Ruka, who was living a wandering life in Osaka, is taken in by an elementary school teacher, Fumi. As she grows up, Ruka lives in Obihiro, Hokkaido with her sister’s boyfriend, Natsuhiko, and develops a friendship with a high school girl, Maori, but the fate that awaits her is always cruel.
