The tribulations of a philosophy teacher, Benjamin Rousseau, as brilliant as he is atypical and rebellious, and his students. He gives them weapons to face life, which are Kant or Spinoza. The irony in all this: Rousseau, who helps these young people move forward, is treading water in his own life.
