Many years after the death of the Prophet Yusuf, peace be upon him, they departed from their principles and colluded with the enemies of the Egyptians, who revolted against oppression, and decided to govern themselves by themselves, and because of the complicity of the Children of Israel with the enemies, they were punished and prevented from fleeing outside Egypt, and they took the most severe revenge against them in response to what they had previously done to them.
