It's the summer of 1997, Aoi Aota (Kaya Kiyohara), a 17-year-old girl came to Yui Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic to work in there as a part-time nurse apprentice, As soon as she arrives, she's impressed by an abortion surgery, In her work and effort to help others, she begins to meet other members of the clinic's medical staff such as Yui Tomohiro (Koji Seto), the head of the clinic who is a very caring individual to everyone and everything, Sayako Mochizuki (Asami Mizukawa), who is a highly trusted nurse with many years of experience, and Mie Sakaki, the head nurse, who is kind to everyone she cares for and confronts each pregnant patient and supports them after surgeries. Aoi's mother, Aota Fumika (Wakana Sakai) is always concerned about the clumsy nature and poor communication skills of her inexperienced daughter, both in life and in her trade, but Aoi's compassion and kindness begins to bring her much affection from the clinic's medical staff as well as from the patients.
