Giorgio is a mediocre but ambitious thirty-year-old journalist. His life changes abruptly when the editor of the newspaper decides to transfer him to a provincial editorial office. Only the shocking kidnapping at the hands of unknown persons of the granddaughter of the most important local entrepreneur gives Giorgio back to his job as a correspondent.
