A research scientist, Dr. David Banner, haunted by his inability to save his wife from a deadly car accident, accidentally overdoses on gamma radiation. Now, whenever he becomes angry or outraged, he transforms into a powerful, green-skinned creature. A tabloid reporter, Jack McGee, begins to track the creature's trail of destruction.
