Follows Hannah Goslar (1928) and Anne Frank (1929). They are best friends when the Second World War breaks out. When the Frank family goes into hiding, they lose sight of each other. Three years later, in 1945, there is a special meeting between the two girls in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Brave Hannah risks her life in hopes of helping her weakened friend.
